『Master of Puppets』のリマスターBOXが2017年11月10日発売決定、予約受付開始 : メタリカ情報局

『Kill 'Em All』『Ride The Lightning』に続き、メタリカの3rdアルバム『Master of Puppets』のリマスター盤が発売決定です。発売は2017年11月10日。リリースされるリマスター盤の仕様は下記4種類。

・3-CD Expanded Edition
・Vinyl
・CD

デラックスボックス盤以外は『Master of Puppets』当時のこれまで未公開の写真などが掲載されたハードカバーブック（Hardcover Book (Bundle)）も付けることができます（デラックスボックスは初期仕様に含まれる）。

今回のデラックスボックス盤も恐るべき豪華仕様。ビニール盤3枚組、CD10枚組、DVD2枚組、カセット1本、そして前述のハードカバーブックと量もさることながら、中身についてもジェイソン・ニューステッドのオーディションの音源や、日本のファンとして嬉しいことに1986年の初来日時の名古屋公演（愛知勤労会館）の映像、そして神奈川テレビで放送されていたミュートマことミュージックトマトでの伊藤政則氏とのインタビュー映像がDVDに収録されています。

公式動画として、ジェイムズ・ヘットフィールドがこのデラックスボックスの開封の儀を行っている映像、そしてリマスター音源から「Disposable Heroes」と「The Thing That Should Not Be」が公開されています。
